About Nanya Technology
Nanya Technology is a major Taiwanese maker dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) chips, mainly used in computers. The company was founded in 1995 and is controlled by Nan Ya Plastics, a key subsidiary of Taiwan's influential conglomerate and family business Formosa Plastics Group. Nanya has a close tech partnership with the U.S. memory chip maker Micron Technology, one of the world's top-three DRAM suppliers. The two companies have jointly invested in Inotera Memories, another leading Taiwanese DRAM supplier.
